This Privacy Notice explains how Aposkitis Charalampos ("we", "us"), acting as the data controller, processes your personal data when you use the Kidenda application and website (the "Service").

1. Personal data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, authentication identifier.
Family data you enter: household name, invited members, children's first names and dates of birth, appointments, activities, notes.
Device & push data: browser push subscription, device type, language preference.
Payment data: transaction identifiers, purchase amount, currency, purchase date. Card details are handled directly by Paddle and never reach our servers.
Technical logs: IP address, timestamps and basic usage logs for security and debugging.

2. Why we process it (lawful basis)

To provide and operate the Service (performance of contract).
To send reminders you have configured (performance of contract).
To process payments and comply with tax/accounting law (legal obligation).
To secure the Service and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

Paddle.com Market Limited — Merchant of Record; processes payments, taxes and refunds.
Supabase (our hosting & database provider) — stores your account and family data.
Email and push notification providers — deliver reminders and account emails.
Authorities — when required by law.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except data we must retain to comply with legal obligations (e.g. invoices, typically 5–10 years depending on jurisdiction).

5. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email aposkitis.charalampos@outlook.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

6. Children

Kidenda is intended for use by parents and guardians. Children do not have their own accounts. Any data about children (name, date of birth) is entered by the parent/guardian who is responsible for it.
